1. Act Fast! Remove all of the stain material as soon as possible. The longer a stain sits, the better the chance of the stain becoming permanent. Fortunately most carpets today are stain-resistant so many spills and accidents can be completely removed if you act fast.

2. Gently blot any remaining stain material away with a clean cloth or paper towels until the stain is completely dry. Be sure to work from the outside of the stain, towards the center to prevent the stain from spreading. Do NOT scrub the stain! Scrubbing can actually force the stain deeper into the carpet fibers and damage the fibers.

3. Before applying any of KickAss Vacuum’s powerful stain removers, always test a small inconspicuous spot on your carpet.

4. Apply a small amount of the selected KickAss Vacuum stain remover to the stain. Do not over-wet the stain as this can lead to saturated carpet backing. Let the stain remover sit for 5 to 10 minutes.

5. Blot the carpet stain with a clean, damp, colorfast towel, absorbing as much of the stain and stain remover as possilbe. Do not scrub! Start with the edges of the spill towards the center to prevent the stain from spreading. Continue to blot and repeat as long as the stain is transfering to the cleaning cloth. Be patient as the complete removal of the carpet stain may require several applications.

6. Once the carpet stain has been removed, the area must be thoroughly dried. Cover the damp area with a cloth or paper towels and weight them down with a heavy object until all the moisture has been removed.
